# HolaClaw v1.4.0

Released July 16, 2026.

Let your assistant work in your own browser, and connect it to your Google Calendar.

## Highlights

### Your assistant, in your browser

Pick Google Chrome when you create an assistant and it works in a real browser on your Mac, in its own isolated profile, so the sites you're signed in to just work.

### Google Calendar

Connect a Google Calendar to your assistant and it can work with your schedule. Paste your calendar's private address to give it read-only access, or sign in with your Google account so it can create and change events too.

## Changes

### Feature

- Choose between Google Chrome on your Mac and the built-in browser when creating an assistant, with Chrome detection and a recheck if it isn't installed yet.
- Open your assistant's browser window at any time with the new "Show browser" action.
- Connect a Google Calendar to your assistant: read-only by pasting the calendar's private address, or read/write through your own Google account.

### Fix

- Fixed creating an assistant right after opening HolaClaw, which could fail with a timeout instead of starting up.
- Fixed setting up a Codex assistant on a slow connection, which could give up partway through instead of waiting for the install to finish.

### Other

- Automatic backups now keep 7 snapshots by default, and "Keep 7" is available as a retention option.
